John M Beringer, Jr. CEO <ul><li>Mr. Beringer started in the insurance industry in 1969, completing his formal career with Specialty Risk Services directing litigation on the behalf of Twin City Fire Insurance Company and the Hartford Fire Insurance Company group, receiving special commendation from Ramani Ayer (CEO of The Hartford) for his nomination for the Chairman’s Award. </li></ul><ul><li>In January of 2000, Mr. Beringer created Beringer & Associates, Inc (B&A), after spending 25 years with various insurance carrier in different positions, including as an Executive Officer and Litigation Manager for Western International Insurance Company. As B&A, he assisted major insurance carriers and various reinsurance organizations as a consultant. </li></ul><ul><li>In 2001 Mr. Beringer created his first Captive in the Cayman Islands, on the behalf of Strategic Captive Services, Inc, which was followed by the creation of JPJ Reinsurance Company SPC (JPJ) in 2007. JPJ currently operates in Cayman as an issuer of Performance Bonds, as a reinsurer of Property and Casualty risk, inclusive of General/Liability, Workers’ Compensation risk and Professional Services risk. </li></ul><ul><li>He testified as an expert witness for various insurance companies, including Lumberman’s Underwriters Insurance Company and Hartford Insurance Company regarding insurance coverage issues, as well as other insurance carrier clients. </li></ul><ul><li>Well over 15,000 litigated cases were resolved by the efforts of Mr. Beringer during his employment in the insurance industry and as a private practitioner in his 38 plus years in the industry. </li></ul>
<ul><li>John King offers more than 25 years of entrepreneurial/managerial experience in insurance, surety bond, equipment leasing, automobile finance and banking businesses. Recently he served as Executive Vice President & Managing General Agent of Oceanic Indemnity, LLC, a surety bond company which he established for the purpose of providing financial guarantee bonds to commercial lenders. </li></ul><ul><li>Mr. King’s background also includes bank management and lending. For a two year period he was an Officer of a partnership that owned a Thrift and Loan with four branches in Southern California. Additionally, for approximately seven years, John worked as a Vice President for Crocker Bank and Avis Car Leasing. The accounts solicited and written were Fortune 1000 companies. </li></ul><ul><li>Mr. King also served as President and CEO of a substandard paper auto finance company for five years. Through his leadership and direction the company grew to one of the five largest substandard auto paper financing entities in the country. With a national presence, the company achieved gross revenue in the area of $120 million per year and had an annual payroll of $6 million. John’s primary responsibility was raising capital for funding contracts, which amounted to $100 million plus per year. </li></ul>John King
