  1. 1. SWEET & SOUR DELIGHT 5. Deep fry the marinated chunks until Directions: golden brown, then remove from oil 1. Prepare the tofu – cut into smaller 6. Pour oil out of the pan, leaving roughly slices and pan fry 2 tablespoons oil in the pan 2. Slice the onion 7. Stir fry the onion & garlic in the 3. Heat the pan and add oil remaining oil, then pour sauce into mix 4. Fry onion until lightly browned, then 8. Add the pre-fried chunks, then stir fry toss in fried tofu and fry together 9. Add chopped bell peppers, then stir fry 5. Season onions and tofu with salt and 10. Add pineapple, then stir fry pepper 11. If the dish is too watery, add some 6. Cut each pita bread in half and open corn starch to thicken the sauce by hand 12. Add a little sesame oil for flavor and 7. Spread the inside of the pita bread Ingredients (makes 4-5 servings): shine in the final dish with the mixed pita spread  1½ C of dry textured soy protein 8. Stuff pita bread with the tofu-onion  2 bell peppers, chopped – 1 green, 1 STUFFED PITA BREAD mixture, freshly-sliced cucumber, and red green lettuce  ½ an onion  1 clove of garlic EDAM AME (SOYBEAN S)  1 C pineapple chunks (@10oz)  2 tsp salt & pepper  1 tsp mushroom seasoning  2 tsp corn starch  1½ C vegetable oil  splash of sesame oil Sweet & Sour Sauce  3 Tbsp ketchup  2 Tbsp vinegar Pita spread:  2 Tbsp sugar  2 Tbsp pineapple juice  3 Tbsp eggless mayonnaise  1 Tbsp ketchup Ingredients (makes 4 or more servings):  a pinch of Salt  1 Tbsp yellow mustard  1 lb or 1 pack of frozen edamame Directions:  Pinch of salt  4-5 quarts of water 1. Soak the soy protein chunks in hot Mix all ingredients and add sugar to taste  1-2 Tbsp salt & pepper water for 10-15 minutes  1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds Ingredients (make 4 or more servings): 2. Squeeze the water out of the chunks Directions: 3. Marinate chunks with salt, pepper,  4 pieces of tofu  ½ an onion 1. Bring the water to a boil and cook mushroom seasoning, and corn  1 pack of mixed baby lettuce edamame starch. Let sit 10-15 minutes  2 cucumbers 2. Drain and rinse with cold water 4. Pour oil into a deep pot and heat until  1 pack of pita bread 3. Add the toasted sesame seeds and medium hot  1 tsp salt and pepper toss  1 tsp olive oil 4.
