Agreed that it is so difficult to communicate risk and reward about social media efforts - especially when they are a new line of business and not just a marketing effort - verbally. Businesses are so adapt at measuring risk and identifying leading and lagging indicators across the board, but often need guidance in thinking about community in a programmatic way.
