    • It is a website
    • Combines text, images, links to other sites or other media.
    • Generally 2-4 paragraphs long
    • Provide information on a particular subject, issue, products etc.
    • Regular posts, new content, great for search engines

    • Provides Regular Content – great for search engines
    • Allows readers for comments – this add value to your blog when you have comments and allows them to be interactive with you
    • Allows you to tell stories, share experiences and be personal to your audience
  • How did I get Started ?
    • I attended a Couple of Chicks Tourism Online Marketing Workshop at Gaelic College – 5 years ago.
  • Where am I now ?
    • Write 5 plus blogs – Tourismvc, Hike the Highlands, Hike NS, NS Blog, ORC Blog, Experience Ingonish Blog plus more. Member of T-List Bloggers
    • Why ? I enjoy writing, creating, producing, and sharing my stories.
  • Some Important Tips
    • As a minimum always include at least one photo with your post
    • Try not to hyperlink more than one or two items in your paragraph…
    • Include slideshows of photos, videos or podcasts in your blog – be interactive
    • Always Tag your post with keywords in your post….
