      • Empowered by Christ we not only have the capacity, but also the responsibility to lead.
      • The desire to Pursue a goal is present because we have found some level of value in what it is that we are going after.
      • Whether you like it or not, there is someone who is watching you. You are already a Leader. What direction are you leading people?
    • 5. Attitude
      • Leadership itself is not about a title or position, but it is an Attitude, a mindset, a way of acting, feeling, or thinking.
      • As a man thinketh, so is he.
    • 6. Character and Integrity
      • Don’t seek only to do things right, but seek to always do the right things.
      • Watch over your words. Say what you mean, mean what you say. Do what you say you are going to do. Your words should not return void.
    • 7. Embracing Change
      • In order to Grow, we must Change
      • Be Comfortable with being Uncomfortable. If our workplace, if our relationships, if our church family and Pastor – all make us feel “comfortable” where we are now, what or who will draw us to a higher place, to our destiny?
    • 8. Personal Growth and Development
      • Exceptional leadership hinges on a life of continued growth and development.
      • Personal growth and development are the fruit of a lifestyle of Accountability.
    • 9. Visioneering
      • A Vision is not just for a business or career, but you should have a vision for every area in which you play a leadership role; work/career, family, finances, retirement years…
    • 10. Servanthood
      • A how can I help you attitude.
      • A heart to see others grow. When you are faithful to serve others, in the midst of your service, your own personal goals are met.
    • 11. Relationship Building
      • You can not lead people, without loving people.
      • Purpose yourself to establish and nurture lasting relationships with those around you.
    • 12. Influence
      • How do you use Power, Pressure, Authority, Persuasion?
      • Do you Motivate, Stir, Encourage, Enthuse, or Arouse, those you lead?
    • 13. Modeling
      • Living a life that stands out, and provides a true picture of something or someone that others would find worthy to try and emulate.
      • You can not take others, where you have not been yourself or where you are not willing to go.
    • 14. Empowerment
      • A Desire to build others, even to heights that exceed themselves as the leader.
      • Choosing to live a life poured out in the service of equipping of others.
    • 15. You may know about it, you may even understand it. Until you Pursue it, you will never obtain it! Victoria L. Burse – Leadership Professional
