  • by actively warning parents of any anomalies, for example, when the baby turns on its stomach. Parents can get additional piece of mind by periodically glanicng on the Monbaby screen to make sure their baby is OK
  • As opposed to passive systems currently on the market, such as baby cams, which require parents to be alert and watching the screen

Longer battery life compare to existing Bluetooth devices.SafetyInsignificant amount of radio frequency (RF) radiation. 1000 times < cell phones; 10 times < standard baby monitorNo dangerous cordsCompetition: we had a head-start of 2.5 years
  • I think shake detection is another great way to appeal to parents-to-be because of the Shaken Baby Syndrome:http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000004.htmMonbaby can't prevent it, but can deter it by monitoring and sending an alarm if a caregiver shakes the baby.
  • "Crowd-sourcing campaign" - this is confusing, not sure what's the goal of the campaignI think a timeline is in order here, I can put one together.Should we partner wih SIDS awareness orgs, such as this one: http://www.sids.org/ as part of the strateg?Should we mention partnerhips with insurance companies for reduction of premiums?
