An ADJECTIVE describes a noun. <ul><li>Examples of words that describe are: </li></ul><ul><li>ugly, pretty, nice, mean, smooth, lumpy </li></ul><ul><li>Check out these examples of adjectives describing a noun: </li></ul><ul><li>The dancer wore a beautiful dress. </li></ul><ul><li>Today was a sunny day. </li></ul>End
