  • Christmas is the most exciting holiday for Filipinos. Many look forward to simbanggabi, puto-bumbong, bibingkaandrelatives coming home from abroadfor the holiday break. Most of all, there are the preparations for Noche Buena, gift-hunting and gift-giving. As heavy users of Facebook, expect more Filipinos to be active on social media especially with the holiday break. Here are some stats to inspire you.
  • With these holidaybehaviour in mind, let’s dive in straight to setting your holiday objectives.
  • In other words, what do you want to achieve? What are your objectives? For most brands it would be recall and awareness during the holidays. This is very important especially for consumer brands. Think Christmas ham or spaghetti- which brands spring to your mind? 2. Holiday conversations – where would you stay this Christmas, what gifts would you like to receive? Companies want their brand, products and services to be associated with the positive feelings of Christmas.3.
