In addition to posting frequently in the beginning of the blog, it’s important to use tools like Google AdWords, if you don’t already, to utilize the right keywords. Google AdWords will help us realize what words people are most searching for and utilize those over others. Google Treands is another useful tool where you can compare how often people are searching for keywords. For example, if you search Back to School and Yoobi, you can see if there is a spike in Yoobi searching at the same time there is a spike in Back to School searching.
TITLES ARE INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT
- In all my research, in published studies and online blogs and forums, it was said that titles will absolutely make or break the success of a post. They say to spend twice the amount of time forming your title as you do your blog post. I think this is a definite exaggeration, but being smart and using keywords that people may search on Google, Pinterest, Facebook, etc. will increase traffic to our blog. 55 characters or less will ensure that our titles aren’t truncated, and the first and last three words are the most important or what the eyeball goes to first.
Based off my own research.
