  • When your class first comes to the library, please be seated and wait for teacher direction unless otherwise directed by an adult. This is an instructional or quiet area; treat it as such.
  • The computers that we have in the library are for your use. They are only to be used to:Check your Skyward account.Do your homework.Print items that are preapproved by the library staff.There is NO GAMING.
  • Our graphic novel section is located on the wall at the end of the fiction section, near the ramp.
  • This area has a quiet, cozy reading area as well as many magazines and new books for your browsing needs.
  • You may check out one magazine at a time.The picture books are organized with the fiction books on the left-hand shelf and the nonfiction picture books are on the right-hand side.
  • The fiction collection begins by the magazines and free reading area.
  • The fiction section is organized in alphabetical order by the author’s last name.
  • The reference collection begins at the ramp and winds its way around the instructional space of the library. These resources are great for research and quick facts.
  • These books are organized by subject and include a lot information about sports, pets, and other topics that you are interested in learning more about.

  • Our older magazines are in pocket carriers. Our picture book collection is on the bottom shelf of this section.
  • Fiction Collection
  • Fiction books are placed on the shelf alphabetically by author’s last name.
  • The Reference Collection begins at the ramp!
    and winds its way around the instructional space of the library.
  • Nonfiction is in the center of the library.
  • Check out counter- please have library materials ready and your ASB card out.If you don’t have your ASB card, clearly state your student ID number.
  • Please have books ready, with barcode facing up and your ASB card in hand.

    Open for lunches, unless a class is in for check out and a lesson.

    Remember: If you have overdue items, you will not be able to check out additional books until they are returned.

    Select the Catalog tab to begin searching for books.
  • Using the Library Catalog
    Type a keyword, title, author or series into the search bar and select the enter button on your keyboard to get your search results.
  • Locating Books in the Library.
    Note the call number of the book that you select to check-out. Be sure it is available before going to the shelf to locate it.
