A partnership of Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Health and Social Care What is Better Care Together? • Strategic partnership of NHS and social care organisations in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland • LLR declared one of 11 “financially-challenged economies” (£400m health and social care gap by 2018/19) • Intensive programme to produce 5 year strategic plan to address the challenges USING FINANCIAL PRESSURES AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE OUTCOMES AND PATIENT EXPERIENCE
