Open Library’s In-Library Lending Proposal• Deliver eBooks to patrons• Over 1,000,000 eBooks available• Over 200,000 modern eBooks from ALL libraries in the lending library• 2 week loans, 1 person per copy (unless multiple copies are in the lending library)• It’s FREE Vincent A.   6. 6. How do libraries join?• In order to join, a library must send at least one book to Open Library. The books are digitized and added to Open Library’s vault.• They are particularly interested in books from 1923-2000.• They will accept books that are being withdrawn from library collections.• Because the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records joined, the whole state may have access to the lending library.
