New employee orientations historically occur when there are sufficient numbers to justify the cost of a face-to-face meeting. Even when the face-to-face meeting is held, not everyone is able to attend. Those who do receive an overwhelming amount of information from a varie ty of people within the organization.

An online supplement to face-to-face meetings would provide access to standard information whenever needed wherever the employee is. A series of interviews with Extension leaders is part of the supplement. The interviews help new employees become more familiar with the leaders, some of whom they may see rarely.

Each PowerPoint set consists of five to seven slides. Every set used the same template to create consistency throughout the series.
