  3. 3. GOAL OF THIS STUDY <ul><li>Looking to reinforce a FOCUS for the college, to better promote the things that the college does well and to discover which areas need to be worked on. </li></ul>

Conducting a brand audit for the college <ul><li>Discover how to best communicate the brand and how to link it in a common way to all groups. </li></ul><ul><li>End result: Create a PUBLIC RELATIONS plan for both internal and external </li></ul><ul><li>Will be focusing on employers, parents, and alumni </li></ul>
  5. 5. 3 Steps To Follow . . . <ul><li>Create an advisory group </li></ul><ul><li>Conduct interviews with 40-50 students, faculty, administrators, employers and alumni </li></ul><ul><li>Based on the interview responses - - create and conduct survey </li></ul>

AMA Case Competition <ul><li>Objective: Develop a marketing plan for McGraw Hill Higher Education </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Promote McGraw Hill’s website as a e-commerce portal for students </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Increase traffic and sales on the website </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Develop relationships with students </li></ul></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Better understand decision making process of students’ book buying </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Investigate teaching supplements and new technology in the industry </li></ul></ul>

(2)Develop a tagline that sets us apart and positions us against our competitors.   9. 9. SASD Open Enrollment <ul><li>Objectives: (1)Determine the general level of understanding of the Wisconsin Public School Open Enrollment process. (2)Determine what motivates parents to seek out a school district other than their resident district. (3)Determine what motivates parents/students to leave the SASD to attend another school district. (4)Determine how long it takes parents/students to decide to apply and/or enroll in a school district other than their resident district. </li></ul><ul><li>Method: Research, Surveys, Interviews, Callings, Focus Groups </li></ul>
