  3. 3. <ul><li>Sita became enraged and said to the Raksasa, “I have taken a vow to follow Rama, who is as unshakeable as a great mountain, as powerful as Indra and as wise as Brhaspati. I cannot be swerved from Rama’s service. He is virtuous and always true to His word. I am dedicated to Rama, who will never abandon His devoted servant. I belong to that Rama who is like a mighty lion and destroys His enemies with ease and speed. How have you, O Ravana, a jackal, been so brazen as to covet Me? </li></ul>Lion vs. Jackal

  5. 5. <ul><li> The great heroes of the Yadu dynasty, being protected by the arms of Lord Sri Krishna, always remain fearless in every respect. Their feet trample over the Sudharma assembly house, which the best demigods deserved but which was taken away from them . </li></ul><ul><li> SB 1/14/38 </li></ul><ul><li>Those who are directly servitors of the Lord are protected by the Lord from all fearfulness, and they also enjoy the best of things, even if they are forcibly accumulated. The Lord is equal in behavior to all living beings, but He is partial to His pure devotees, being very affectionate toward them </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>“ If Krishna wants to save you, then no one can harm you. If Krishna wants to kill you, no one can protect you.” </li></ul>
  7. 7. <ul><li>sukham atyantika m yat tad </li></ul><ul><li>buddhi-grahyam atindriyam </li></ul><ul><li>vetti yatra na caivaya m </li></ul><ul><li>sthita m calati tattvata m </li></ul><ul><li>ya m labdhv a capara m labha m </li></ul><ul><li>manyate nadhika m tata m </li></ul><ul><li>yasmin sthito na dukh </li></ul><ul><li>guru na pi vicalyate </li></ul><ul><li>In that joyous state, one is situated in boundless transcendental happiness, realized through transcendental senses. Established thus, one never departs from the truth, and upon gaining this he thinks there is no greater gain. Being situated in such a position, one is never shaken, even in the midst of greatest difficulty. This indeed is actual freedom from all miseries arising from material contact.   8. 8. <ul><li>She belonged to a glorious culture based </li></ul><ul><li>on dharma, on following God-given laws </li></ul><ul><li>and duties.She had an inner commitment </li></ul><ul><li>and happiness that were unshakeable. </li></ul><ul><li>Her happiness came from having </li></ul><ul><li>understood her relationship with </li></ul><ul><li>Krishna, with herself, and with others. </li></ul><ul><li>She was chaste, kind, honest, unselfish, responsible, and high in moral standards. Through sincerity and training, she freed herself from pride, envy, anger, false ego, low self-esteem, and other shortcomings.   10. 10. <ul><li>The central figure of creation and of enjoyment is the Supreme Lord, and the living entities are cooperators. By cooperation they enjoy. The relation is also like that of the master and the servant. If the master is fully satisfied, then the servant is satisfied. The tendency to become the creator and the tendency to enjoy the material world are there also in the living entities because these tendencies are there in the Supreme Lord.
