R. 3992 112TH CONGRESS 2D SESSION To allow otherwise eligible Israeli nationals to receive E–2 nonimmigrant visas if similarly situated United States nationals are eligible for similar nonimmigrant status in Israel. IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES FEBRUARY 9, 2012 Mr. BERMAN (for himself, Mr. SMITH of Texas, Ms. ZOE LOFGREN of Cali- fornia, and Ms. ROS-LEHTINEN) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary A BILL To allow otherwise eligible Israeli nationals to receive E– 2 nonimmigrant visas if similarly situated United States nationals are eligible for similar nonimmigrant status in Israel. 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 3 SECTION 1.
