Intermittent Cooling InformationIn order to conserve energy and comply withCommand Policy No. 200, USAG-J Energy andWater Conservation Policy, an intermittent coolingperiod will be implemented prior to transitioninginto heating season effective Oct. 9.This initiative will be implemented for at least twoweeks until Oct. 22, depending on weatherconditions.

Intermittent Cooling InformationIntermittent cooling (air-conditioning service) willcontinue throughout USAG-J as long as theoutside heat index remains 76 degrees Fahrenheitduring the day for five days.During evening hours, cooling will continue if thetemperature reaches 74 degrees Fahrenheit orabove. Cooling will be discontinued whentemperatures go below the above criteria.

Intermittent Cooling InformationDaily temperature will be monitored every hourto effectively implement this energyconservation initiative.The only facilities that will continue havingcooling during this period will be: TheExchange, Camp Zama Community Club, FMWRCDCs, MEDDAC, and DODEA Schools.
