    • COOLING SEASONIntermittent air-conditioning will begin on June 4 at all U.S. Army Japan facilities. The cooling will continue as long as the outside heat index is 76 degrees during the day. During the evening hours, air-conditioning will be provided if the nighttime heat index is at or above 74 degrees.
    • COOLING SEASON Daily temperatures will be monitored hourly to effectively implement this energy conservationinitiative. The only facilities that will continue to have cooling during this period will be AAFES facilities, the Camp Zama Community Club, theChild Development Centers, BG Sams U.S. ArmyMedical Health Clinic, and Camp Zama schools.
