  • Consumers have fallen in love with their smartphones. According to report by Nielsen "By end of 2011 over half of Americans will have a smart phone." Mobile is changing the dynamics of the travel industry.
  • According to Google research - "19% of all hotel queries being conducted on mobile devices". Travel research, planning and booking is all moving mobile.
  • eMarketer predicts that the number of US mobile users who research travel on their mobile devices will climb from 19.7 million in 2010 to 29.7 million in 2012. Those booking via mobile will nearly double in the same timeframe, from 8.7 million to 15.1 million.
