  1. 1. A RETAIL PAN SHOP AT SECTOR V, SALTLAKE……
  2. 2.  Rajesh Chowrasia and Suresh Chowrasia, two brothers cum owners, own a pan shop named “ Chowrasia Benarasi Pan Shop”.  The shop is located at Sector V , Saltlake. Beside RDB Cinema Hall.  They started the business ( Pan retail business) in the year 2008.  They sell variety types of pan. Beside this they also sell Puri,channa battra,aluu pokra,aluu tikkaa soda sikanji,thumbs up. But mainly they concentrate on the pan business.
  3. 3.  The shop opens at 11.00 A.M . It closes at 11.00 P.M
  4. 4. Rajesh Chowrasia and Suresh Chowrasia basically belongs from Agra. But now they stay at chingrihata. They have joint family. They have 10 members in the family. Both the brothers are married. They have 3 children. They have one cousin who stays with them.
  5. 5.  They have invested Rs. 25,000 (approx) for this business. They don’t have to pay rent to others. They don’t pay any extra charge or extra rent to RDB. The reason is that RDB Company’s M.D belongs from their city Agra.
  6. 6. They spend Rs. 1200- 1500 for electricity. No labour cost because family members are engaged in the business. They spend Rs.2200- 2500 for gas cylinders. They have only one helper who is their cousin.
  7. 7. 3 members. 2 brothers and their cousin. The cousin left the shop after 8 P.M everyday.
  8. 8. Equipments : Refrigerator, gas ovane, fried pan are there in the shop.
  9. 9. They buy pan from Maniktala Bazaar at morning. They buy all the masala from Burrabazar.
  10. 10.  Sales per day is near about 1000- 1500. They mainly sale in bulk to the office sector.
  11. 11.  Peak hour is noon time, from 12.00 p.m to 2p.m because most of the offices have lunch time during this time span. At evening from 5.30 p.m- 7.30 p.m. During this time most of the offices start shutting down.
  12. 12. Mostly office people .They sale in bulk to the office sectors like I.B.M, TCS, Cognizant. Students also come from various colleges over there.
