It is human nature to focus on the things that are important to us naturally making those things a priority and dedicating most of our time to them.
Typically your families, work, sleep, and leisurely activities are some of them main priorities in our life.
In order to be successful and reach your goals of becoming a nurse…..
Nursing School MUST become a Priority!
This will require some adjustment to work-life balance
So you got your priorities in order and you know what you need to do….
Get it out of your head and put it on a schedule!
Key points when building a schedule:
Use a Planner
Either electronic or Written
Keep track of events and commitments
Test and quiz dates
Details of academic schedule
Personal items (medical appointments, due dates for bills)
Club and organizational meetings
Spend time Planning your schedule
Especially planning study sessions for upcoming test
Make a to do list of short and long term things to be accomplished
To do list are critical tool for time management especially during exam weeks and when major projects are due
Post a monthly and yearly calendar at home
This will provide you with an overview and focus on upcoming events and responsibilities
Leisure is a break for your mind body an soul and is essential to your health and success.
Fill in the time with whatever relaxes you

So chances are you will be tempted to procrastinate, but it can become habit forming and causes serious problem.
Procrastinators usually aren’t concerned about deadlines and are quite content that they will get everything done before the deadline. They often feel they work well under pressure because they get the task done in a short amount of time
