  • 1.  Pollution is anything which harms the environment in any way. There are four main types of pollution – air pollution, land pollution, water pollution and noise pollution. Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into a natural environment that causes instability, disorder, harm or discomfort to the ecosystem.
  • 2.  Land pollution is the pollution caused by humans because of the chemical waste we do. When we throw garbage on the land, it becomes harmful and infertile. It is harmful for plants, animals and humans. The plants which grow in the infertile land become poisonous and when animals or humans eat them, the poison enters our system.
  • 3. Domestic waste Industrial waste Agricultural waste Commercial waste Electronic waste Defection in open Garbage disposal problems Deforestation Overuse of pesticides Overuse of chemicals Desertification Mining More usage of plastic
  • 4.  No fertile land Less oxygen Soil erosions and landslides because of unstable soil Floods Stinking smells Poisonous vegetables growing in garbage Animals habitats get destroyed Effects on climate Extincsion of species
  • 5.  Water pollution is the pollution in the water and that can cause many problems and diseases to humans and animals. Water pollution is a very harmful pollution.
  • 6.  Garbage Oil spills Harmful chemicals released by factories Sewage water released in water bodies Defection in open
  • 7.  Because of polluted water the sea creatures die and when the people who are non- vegetarian eat them they get diseases. When we drink the bad water or bath with it we get harmful diseases. Water pollution also affects the marine food chain. Extincsion of species
  • 8.  It is the pollution which is released into the air. Air pollution is the most harmful form of pollution. It can affect humans and animals(living things), very easily as they breathe air.
  • 9.  Usage of cars and vehicles that use any fossil fuels to work. Factories which directly release the harmful gases in the environment. Burning of garbage. Smoking done by us.
  • 10.  Air pollution effects the ozone layer and also is the cause of global warming. We can get lung cancer and heart diseases because of air pollution. Extincsion of species
  • 11.  Noise pollution is the unwanted noise which we make and it is very harmful to us and other living organisms. Noise pollution is very harmful for ears.
  • 12.  This noise is caused because of fireworks, celebrations, horns of cars , high volume music, volume of T.V’s and other electronic devices which make noises. It is also caused by the noise we humans make.
  • 13.  Irritated feelings Deafness Headaches Heavy feelings Sleeping babies and birds are disturbed Insects which are close to loud noises die Extincsion of species
