    • 2. INTRODUCTION
      • “ There is no better attribute that could make a person feel perfectly comfortable and at ease in relating, interacting and working with the world other than being physically and innately clean.”
      • Personal hygiene is indeed a very essential matter to consider in our day to day living. Everyday we go out and interact with people-communicate with them, work with them and learn things from them. We engage in continuous process of building relationships among ourselves. A person’s physical health and well being is an important factor a prioritize and give focus to, in performing these basic functions.
      • First, let us define what personal hygiene is. Such a very easy question that even a grader could very well answer. Personal hygiene means maintaining clean and well-cared for physical self. It is the a rt of caring and loving God’s most beautiful creation which is none other than our body.

      • Why do we need to maintain or develop a good personal hygiene?
      • Basically because of health reason. In a personal and an individualistic view, we maintain a clean body to maintain good health. Constant care and attention to our body assures us of greater resistance against diseases. Another thing is being physically clean gives us a greater level of confidence and social power. It makes us at home with ourselves ang gives us a feeling of physical serenity.
      • We need to be clean for the people around us. Hygiene is a major requirement in having to maintain a good social relationship. It will reinforce our confidence to interact, communicate and live with people. A clean self means a very functional and fruitful interpersonal bond.
      • Personal hygiene is a “must-not-forget” area that everyone should pay attention for. Remember that a clean self signals a progressive social life and healthy interpersonal relationship shall lead into a successful and fruitful living.
