Can you describe the meaning of (body language)?
To me, body language refers to the hand movements and gestures we
use when communicating with others. It can also be called ‘nonverbal’
communication.
2. Do you think the body language is important for your position?
Yes, I have to be very aware of the body language I use when I’m
communicating with others. Plus, we’re working in an international
environment so we should be aware of what different body languages
mean in different cultures. For example, in the Arab culture, it is very
rude to turn your back to someone, but someone from another
country might not consider this as an offense.
3.Does your body language help you to success in your career?
Yes, in the sense that you can use your body language to
show authority and confidence.
The way we speak and communicate
with others is crucial in Human Resources.
5. Does your verbal help you to success in your
career?
I think so. The way we speak even
during a job interview affects our
career. After that, we speak on the
phone, during meetings, with clients
and with colleagues so our method
of verbal communication can lead
to success.
16. 16. Interview Questions
Verbal Language:
6. Do you have any technique in your verbal action lead
you to be different from other employees?
I always try to speak respectfully to people. Even if there is a
problem or someone is upset, I think it is important to remain
calm, and soon you will find that the other people calm down
as well when they hear your calm voice.
7. How do you apply the use of your verbal
language in your career?
I try to use the right type of verbal communication
for each situation and each person. First, I analyze
the environment and the people I’m dealing with,
then I decide how I will communicate with them.
17. 17. A Related Story to the Body Language
8. Can you tell us a good story about body language that is related to your success in your career?
A good story that would probably be:
At the end of a job interview
(my first job), the manager
told me that he liked my
poise and confidence
and I was hired
at the same day.
