What is e-learning for kids? <ul><li>E-Learning for Kids is a global, non-profi t foundation dedicated to fun and free learning on the Internet (or via CD-ROM or pre-installed on computers) for children ages 5 - 12. Its vision is to be the source for technology based childhood learning – accessible everywhere in the world and without charge. </li></ul>
The Objective: <ul><li>The purpose of this project was to increase education for children and also to provide educational opportunities to children who live in poor countries. The computers at the school were supplied with special software for the disabilities students and with the e-Learning for Kids courseware. The training received enables the children to develop in an adjusted educational environment so that ultimately they can find employment and lead independent lives. </li></ul>
The targets audience: <ul><li>E-Learning for Kids is for children, also it is building a community of interest for parents and educators to share innovations and insights on childhood education. </li></ul>
E-learning for kid Mission: <ul><li>Mission is to open doors to education worldwide. Thus, it fosters the development of the skills required to succeed in the 21st century through technology based learning which both familiarizes children with technology, while also leverages this platform to provide all children everywhere with access to free, high quality educational experiences and learning. </li></ul>
E-learning for Kids Vision: <ul><li>The vision for e-Learning for Kids is to be recognized by 2015 as the primary source for technology based learning – accessible everywhere in the world without charge and supportive of the United Nations Millenium Education Goal to achieve universal primary education by 2015. </li></ul>
