But later, during thedevelopment of production, for reasons that may never be revealed, Chapman had toleave the command of "Brave (untamed) newcomer Mark Andrews, whosedirectorial experience was limited to two short films, nominee Oscar The man band(One Man Band, Andrews, Andrew Jimenez, 2005) and Violet (2007). Ultimately itwas reported that Steve Purcell, another debutant Pixar, also appeared in the credits asco-director and co-writer.
