The teacher must be proficient in the use of the laptops and able to educate and assist the students as needed. Many new software will be available as well and new hardware will be introduced to the teachers. This is just one area of need for the campus. In creating a staff development for technology data from the StaR chart, campus improvement plan and the district improvement plan will be used. The use of Eduphoria will be included in the staff development as well as effective communications. Professional development hours will not be awarded until theevaluation and survey are completed. Administrators will have access to these surveysand will use the information to plan future professional development courses. Thesurveys are found on Eduphoria, which is accessible from any computer with internetaccess. Evaluation and surveys must be completed within 24 hours in order to receivecredit. Teachers use this same website to register for classes.Knox faculty and staff members will meet in the cafeteria from 3:35-3:50 for closingthoughts. Each person will receive a paper with instruction on completing theevaluation and survey. They will also be instructed to complete a posting about the staffdevelopment in forethought. Students may wish to use this action plan as one of your school improvement projects for your Electronic Portfolio. You may also use the Week 3 and Week 4 assignments as campus supervised hours for your internship logs.
