Leonardo Garcia is a Partner at iplabs with the responsibility for intelligence and analysis focused on fixed mobile convergence, mobile and wireless communications in the enterprise workplace with expertise in Managed Services—specifically network, security and enterprise mobility. He is also responsible for the coverage of mobile security and enterprise device management and applications, focusing on solutions and services targeting the enterprise end-user, securing and managing the enterprise Managed Mobility Services. As Director of ATT Wireless and Cingular Wireless Government Solutions Group, Mr. Garcia was responsible for strategic programs and driving new business by developing and establishing strategic high level relationships and partnerships within the systems integrator community, including developing alliances and strategies with companies with emerging technologies. Previously, he was a senior manager with Lucent Technologies Internetworking Systems where he was responsible for IP convergence, network infrastructure, wireless technologies, security products and solutions supporting the enterprise, multi-national accounts and service provider market, including developing Lucent’s channel development strategy. Additionally, Mr. Garcia was Business Development Director with Inktomi Corporation responsible for channel development strategy and systems integrators for content delivery networks and application layer multicasting technologies for satellite providers, application service providers and carriers.
