2. What is Good Enough Mother?
• Good Enough Mother is the website for real moms for whom perfection is just a
dream!
• Created by TV host, author and mom of two René Syler, Good Enough Mother is
the site for anyone who’s ever fed their kids breakfast for dinner or sent their
children to school wearing yesterday’s socks! We’re the original market leader in
the fast growing practical parenting movement!
• Good Enough Mother is about doing your best and understanding your best will
have to do! René was fed up watching women self-flagellate over the most
innocuous of mistakes, running themselves ragged trying to keep up with society’s
perception of what makes a good mother. Of course the people short changed in
this were the kids - and their moms!
• René wants women to understand how to separate what they should really worry
about from what should wash off in the shower.

3. Who is Rene Syler?
• René Syler is a TV host, author, journalist,
blogger and constantly-on-the-go mom of
two!
• René first hit the national spotlight as anchor
of CBS’s The Early Show before leaving the
TV news world behind in 2006 to spread the
message of perfect imperfection.
• Simon & Schuster published her book Good
Enough Mother in both hard and soft copy
runs.
• Syler also made national headlines after
undergoing an elective preventive double
mastectomy (breast cancer is a cause for
which René remains a tireless campaigner)

• Over the last 12 months René has been busier
than ever: making guest appearances on The
Nate Berkus Show, The Doctors, BET’s Mo ‘Nique
Show, The Wendy Williams Show, new daytime
talker Father Albert and taking over for Joy Behar
as guest host of her CNN primetime series.
• René also makes numerous public appearances
and speeches, was a headliner at Disney’s 2011
Social Media Moms’ conference, a spokeswoman
for Women’s Day Magazine, contributes to TLC’s
Parentables website and is a Content Expert for
the baby products brand Evenflo. In the coming
months René will also be a keynote speaker at the
