  • UNIT 8: PARTIALLY INDUSTRIALIZED CONSTRUCTION
    • -The society has developed for an agriculture economy to a mecanized process wich makes big pieces. Industrial revolution.
    • -Industrial revolution hapenned in England in latests years of 18th century. It happens in other countries as well.
    • -It had been the productivest and the madest period; they built lot of buildings, so fast and without any care.
    • They put materials they used like ,stone, brick and wood together and they get new built systems.
    • -The building was better, hygienic and controlated. Itmakes live confortable and peoples life reference grows.

  • UNIT 8: PARTIALLY INDUSTRIALIZED CONSTRUCTION -Prefabricated elements and in situ built elements combination -They use elements comprobated in contralated way. -Instead of using finished elements, they use those who need to finish them in the building works. DEFINITION OF PARTIALLY INDUSTRIALIZED ELEMENTS 1. HISTORY 2. DEFINITION 3. CLASIFICATION 4. ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES 5. GORDILLO STUDY 6. MEDIATHEQUE IN SENDAI 7. • UNIT 8: PARTIALLY INDUSTRIALIZED CONSTRUCTION - Depending on the weigth : -Light Prefabricated elements: less than 30 kg. little elements, they can be put by one or two workers -Midely light prefabricated elements: less than 500kg, they can be put by a simple system, pulley, lever -Heavy prefabricated elements: more than 500kg elements. They had to be put in building works by heavy machinary and big cranes. - Depending on the form : -Bloks: They are prefabricated elements for walls construction. Those elements are self-preservation and they doesn`t need any help of other elements. Concrete bloks,bricks.. -Panels:Sheets with an important relacionship between surface and thickness. Retaining walls, sheets on facades,“pladur” sheets,… -Linear elements:Trasversal section of rigid elements. In conection with the ground CLASIFICATION OF PARTIALLY INDUSTRIALIZED ELEMENTS 1. HISTORY 2. • UNIT 8: PARTIALLY INDUSTRIALIZED CONSTRUCTION + Easy manufacture + Simply conecction + Fast assembly + Less surpluss + Better quality of elements. + No attack from climatology conditions. + More resistance elements + Dry construction priority ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF PARTIALLY INDUSTRIALIZED ELEMENTS - Elements for a specific building work - Many different elements -Obligatory Spetialization to assembly works. - Less flexibility - Need to redesing 1. • It needs load bearing walls of concrete to stand the land
    • It needs homogeneous light
    • It looks for the uniformity
    • It needs a diaphanous space because it is a workshop
    • - It doesn't need so many installations
