We have developed a collaboration that will continue to develop
as Diplomas are implemented. This has proven to be a difficult
project and we have encountered problems throughout.
However, the project has enabled us to pull staff together,
provide vital subject specific information and to make a huge
number of long lasting contacts with those in many consortia
across the country. It has made us engage with Oxford Brookes
and to think about what we do to help the teachers of the future.
The creation of a VLE is underway and with the help of
Waddesdon this may be up and running as a resource for
September 2009. The intention is to make this available to
Oxford Brookes students
In conjunction with Oxford Brookes we are setting up a pilot
scheme for ITT, using Abingdon’s Creative and Media Diploma
as a model for interns with a clear programme of delivery and
assessment.
