WikiWikiWeb (Wiki) is an information sharing system on the Web developed by Ward Cunningham in 1995. Wiki is created as a system for collaboration over the Internet, Wiki came to be used for large-scale Web site, or information sharing for groups, enterprises and individuals. According to the changes of the use cases, various Wiki engines are developed. After almost ten years past, various roles of Wiki are appeared. In this paper, we describe the characteristic of Wiki from the first Wiki site, the changes of the use cases, the development of various Wiki engine, and the general view of present Wiki situation.
