In 2009, I had an “aha” moment when attending a nutrition program in New York. I realized sitting in class that I wanted “to make the world healthier one event at a time.”
Attending the program was the culmination of managing an allergy to yeast for the previous six years and wanting to learn how to eat well and be healthier with the “limitation.” And, as an event planner responsible for planning and attending more than 100 events a year, I was frustrated with trying to eat well on the road and at those events. It was (and still is) nearly impossible.
I thought, “why can’t I combine my nutrition education
