Cross-Threading is Avoidable
Important Features
The First Thread
The first thread of the male connector must properly sync with
the first thread on the air spring in order to avoid cross-threading.
Begin by lightly twisting the fitting in a
COUNTER-CLOCKWISE rotation until
you feel the air fitting's thread drop into
place properly.
Once you feel the threads properly engage,
proceed to twist the fitting in a CLOCK-WISE
rotation until the fitting is finger-tight
With the proper wrench, make one full .
CLOCKWISE rotation from finger tight
Finally, continue with the wrench in a
CLOCKWISE rotation until the fitting is in line
with the the center hole.
