Government services have long been a vigorous and innovative sector of the Inmarsat family. Government users have special requirements for reliability, global coverage and truly mobile voice and data services and Inmarsat has responded with mobile satellite broadband service on land (BGAN), at sea (FleetBroadband) and in the air (SwiftBroadband). Now, with the successful launch of the third Inmarsat I-4 satellite in 2008, opening of the latest landthe opening offor Inmarsat traffic in Hawaii lastInmarsat recentin Hawaii earth station the latest land earth station for fall, and traffic completion of our satellite fleet repositioning, Inmarsat offers mobile satellite broadband service on a worldwide basis, with newly optimized coverage over land areas such as North America. At the same time, Inmarsat Partners and users have been working together to develop applications that make the BGAN family a central part of the communications networks relied on by Government today. These solutions provide remote and mobile users with secure voice, data, situational awareness, and video streaming applications needed by Governments on a daily basis and are available instantly anywhere. Our conference this year will highlight many of these solutions. Please join other participants as we share experiences, identify best practices, explore cutting edge Inmarsat developments, and celebrate the inauguration of a new era in worldwide Inmarsat mobile broadband service. Be sure to visit our solutions showcase, where our Partners will have available the latest in Inmarsat applications for Government users. Regards, Andrew Sukawaty CEO and Chairman of the Board Inmarsat 2
