  • 2. There are 6 ways tochange a noun from singular to plural.•A noun is a person, place, or thing.•Singular means only one noun.•Plural means more than one noun.

  • 4. Rule 2Nouns that end in “ch”, “sh”, “x”, add “es”. bush bushes box boxes church churches
  • 5. Rule 3Nouns that end in “f” or “fe” often change to “ves”. wife wives wolf wolves
  • 6. Rule 4Some nouns change the inside spelling. man men goose geese mouse mice
