FULT Session 3 Workshop Part II<br />15 February 2011<br />Bathurst<br />Scenario Worksheet<br />Context<br />Choose one of your subjects that you would like to improve – choose either an internal subject or a distance subject. Discuss the subject briefly with your group remembering to highlight the key points of the subject objectives and the intended learning outcomes. Identify areas that you would like to improve in the subject, focusing on collaboration, cooperation, and engagement. (Take note of these areas.)<br />Task<br />Using this as a basis from which to begin, ascertain four or five points to discuss. These points should be based around collaboration, cooperation, and engagement within the subject. Discuss your chosen points with regards to the following questions.<br />
    • How can I increase cooperation using flexible and blended learning concepts?
    • 2. How can I increase collaboration using flexible and blended learning concepts?
    • 3. How can I increase engagement using flexible and blended learning concepts?
    • 4. What aspects of flexible and blended learning can be incorporated to improve the chosen points?
    • 5. What flexible and blended learning tools could I use to increase cooperation, collaboration, and engagement?
    Prepare to present the results of your discussion to the group. You should present at least three ideas about how you can incorporate ideas of flexible and blended learning into your chosen student cohort.<br />Scenario Outcomes<br />
    • Addition of more flexible and blended learning tools to the toolbox.
    • 6. Identification of flexible and learning strategies that align with teaching and learning outcomes and activities.
    Explore different strategies to incorporate ideas of flexible and blended learning within subjects to improve cooperation, collaboration, and engagement.<br />
