Dear Pre-Paid Legal,
In less than a week after joining, a collection agency called me
about a long delinquent debt of $700. I could not convince them
they had the wrong person. To protect my credit since I was buy-
ing a house shortly, I would have to pay the $700.
I called Pre-Paid on the toll-free number. The very next day,
the collection agency called and apologized saying they had the
wrong person, and my credit record is clear.
