  • 5. Heuristics to rate a global website against its competitors Goal: Recommendations to focus the direction of future web site changes to keep the company at the top of the field Results in tabular and graphical representation Specific instances of what was working or not

Goal: An updated website that helped to bring together multiple properties under the umbrella of Avid.com to further the “One Avid” initiative Involvement: User research/requirements gathering Personas Competitive analysis/content analysis Sitemap/wireframes QA through development Biggest Challenges: Create a new taxonomy and navigation that covers multiple segments and a large product portfolio Phasing the project appropriately Updating design and structure with existing content (minor updates) Design a new support tab Results: Launched Phase 1 – the Pro Audio/Video product catalog (family and product pages) Success: Initial analytics and social media commentary show positive improvements in metrics and feedback
