  • Job seeker must understand that networking isn’t jut about them it is also about being willing to help others. Have something to offer is a key component of this slide. You can talk about the success you’ve had in personal/professional settings with getting something by first offering something. You can also give some ideas of what they can offer. This can be something as basic as a listening ear, or a plate of cookies.
  • You could talk about the 30 – 60 as the marketing message. Then you can give a brief description of how you can fit that into, or certain aspects of it, into the items mentioned.
  • www.vistaprint.com is a website were an individual can get 250 free business cards. All they need to pay for is shipping and handling. Comic is to demonstrate the need to get there resume and business cards out to network and employers.
  • You could go through parts of this business card to show strong points, and give examples of what to put on a personal business card.
