    • The Texas STaR Chart is:
    • a Tool for Planning and Self-Assessing S chool T echnology a nd R eadiness (Star)
    • It is aligned with the Texas Long-Range Plan (TLRP) for Technology, 2006-2020

    • TLRP has four major component
          • Teaching and Learning (TL)
          • Educator preparation and development (EP)
          • Leadership and Administrative and Instructional support (L)
          • Infrastructure for technology (INF)
  • 4. Purpose of Star Chart
    • The star chart is designed to:
    • Help campuses determine their progress towards meeting district goals
    • Help campuses determine their progress toward s meeting TLRP
    • Give reliable data to compare state, district, campus and national use of technology and its availability in teaching.
