    • Samuel Adams organized the sons of liberty in 1765 after the stamp act

    • The parliament passed the Townshend act
  • 6. 1767
    • The Townshend act caused new protest in the colonies the colonies decided to boy cot the British products

    • The boy cot was hurting British businesses the British government decided to take stronger actions

    • British war ships arrived in Boston harbor

    • The sons of liberty dumped tea on the Boston harbor this became know as the Boston tea party
