  • 1. Poverty<br />There is another term used to those families who can not even cover food and water with their salary. This group is called extreme poor families. <br /><ul><li>In Peru we have 39, 3% of poverty which is mostly concentrated on the rural area; there is 25, 7% of poverty on the urban area and 64, 6% on the rural area. Nevertheless 9, 3% of urban area lives in extreme poverty and 24, 5% on the rural area.</li></li></ul><li>Hunger In Peru and Poverty<br />

  • 3. Measuring food insecurity and hunger in Peru<br />OBJECTIVE: To adapt a scale to measure perceptions on food insecurity and hunger among Urban households in Peru.<br />

Peruvians shouldn’t be part of the list of “developing nations”. Change will come the day that each person gets committed with changing it.<br />
