Lunar New Year Celebration in Orlando

One of the many treasures of Orlando is our great weather. Which makes it an ideal venue f or outdoor events.
T he Asian community blocked of f a parking lot Downtown and celebrated in grand style.
T he organizers assembled a host of sponsors to make a truly community event. A parking lot in the Mills 50
District was blocked of f with Food trucks on one side and open access on the other. In the middle was a
perf ormance stage. Surrounding the lot were several local businesses networking.
It wouldn’t be a f estival without street perf ormers and f ood. T he large Bom Gall stand with open grill and nose
leading T hai f ood captivated the crowd with long lines. Yumi Sandwiches, Panda Express and Teriyaki House
Restaurants were serving parts of their menu. Bem Bom Food Truck and a couple of juice trucks were serving
up their f are.

It was a great gathering of cultures all intermingling absorbing each other.
