Traffic and Transport BUT ALL THESE STRATEGIES Research Program MEET OUR NEEDS ? Transport systems are measures for mitigation not to solve the real problem Until now there is no strategy for the 46 % of trips (pedestrians) Change land use and reorganize our city planning will be less expensive TOD and land use policies are more effective than increase infrastructure of transport Transport policies (like our BRT) require not only technical approach but also a strong legal framework and land use control if you are looking for efficient measures It is required to follow the master’s plan and accomplish the goals to meet the needs of population
