    • Set up a company – it’s easy• You are going to need help• First go to they have great online resources• And the and have a look at• Ask an existing company for help and advice such as• You will find community energy projects in Oxford, Bath, London, Brightonand all over the UK Perhaps it’s time for a Transition Community Energy Network?
    • You need the right incentives The Feed-in Tariff (FiT) made our projects viable. Or you could use the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) or the ROCs This is the FiT table from 2010 – get up to date information from Ofgem!
    • Finding your site and technology• You know your local community• Your site might be a local business, school or farm• Have more than one potential site in mind• OVESCO and Harveys brewery
    • Work with your installer and develop your project• You need a good installer who wants the project to be a success• You need to know the project is viable• Consider feasibility study, planning permission and site survey
    • Raising the finance• OVESCO raise over £350K in six weeks from 247 investors• Your community needs to be confident in your project
