The Chopstick Principles - Presentation Transcript

    1. How to Use Chopsticks a short guide and a few business lessons by Shimon Shmueli, Touch360
    2. association: force, efficiency, bpm * * bites per minute
    3. association: art, balance
    4. Why would anyone ever attempt to use two thin sticks if they could just grab and use a fork? “ The honorable and upright man keeps well away from both the slaughterhouse and the kitchen. And he allows no knives on his table.” 孔夫子 C onfucius
    5. Balance: balance the chopsticks in your hands and then hold the food close to its center of gravity Sensitivity: apply the right amount of force (because too much force will get you tired and unstable) Alignment: first align the tips of the chopsticks and then align them on both sides of the food Targeting: take advantage of the shape and texture of the food (and you will be able to do some heavy lifting) The Chopstick Principles Base: one chopstick is relatively static and used as a base while the other is dynamic and moves as needed
