  • Located ½ mile east of Lynch Road between Bucyrus and Ellis Prairie is Pine Ridge School. It is on private property.
  • Located west of Simmons on Hwy. Z is Oak Grove School. It is now a community center and in excellent condition.
  • Located just east of Houston on Brown Hill Road, off Brushy Creek Road, is Brown Hill School. It even has the original playground equipment! It is a private residence.
  • North of Cabool on Hwy. M, proceed west of Bado on Murr Road for three miles to the school. Murr school has not had anything done to it since classes ended. The owner would like assistance in restoring the school building.
