How to become the most beautiful girl in the worldFantastic presentation.
A good demonstration of the power of words. Pictures might even reduce the impact.
This is where colored text might have worked well. Use same colors for same words and different colors for different key words.
A good exercise for someone who wants to develop their skills is to reproduce this slideshow but with colored text and limited text variations.
When can we see another presentation? I can’t wait!11 months ago

How to get your slides noticedIf it takes longer than 6 seconds to appreciate the picture and read the text, try using 2 or more slides to convey the message. You could even use the same picture but with less text on each slide. However put something to show that it is the second part of the bigger message.12 months ago

The BIG IdeaThis is a brilliant presentation. My comments are marginal - a few ideas that might make a great presentation just a little better.
1) There should be a graphic for ’Vision Caster’. This is a central concept for the presentation. Even if it is an abstract graphic the concept needs a graphic representation.
2) There could be a graphic that builds gradually from slide to slide which eventually completes on the slide that tells us about the book or the central concept. This will link the slides graphically and represent the build up of suspense. It could be the edge of the book revealing itself just slightly in the top right corner of the slide..
3) Slide 1 - more contrast between "the" & "idea" and the black background. Slightly lighter text color. (Several other slides need a similar adjustment)
4) Slide 14 requires a graphic to represent "power" to make it more consistent with the previous slides. Consider silhouetting Josh against an office background.
5) Tod Albertson’s picture should be on slide 55.
6) Slide 27 is a little redundant.
7) This is a nice presentation. However, something new that has not been done before would make it even better. I would like the designer take a risk and do something unconventional.2 years ago

Computer HaikusNice words. Dramatic pictures could have boosted each message. A good assignment would be for each of us to take one slide and transform it with a graphic.
So much potential.

Build Skills and Confidence: Learn to Love Public SpeakingGreat slides! Thanks for sharing and inspiring. Excellent use of color. Suggest you right align the text in the left hand text boxes to help move the eye of the viewer into the picture.3 years ago

Your Agenda SlideSRINI - Slide 9 shows you how to set up an agenda that is visible on all slides and allows you to jump to any item on the agenda by clicking on one of the topics. So for example, I could be on slide 4 and jump to slide 7 simply by clicking on the agenda item #7.
This is very useful for certain types of presentation when you will be moving fairly randomly between slides.3 years ago

Thirty Tips for Public Speaking TyrosSome comments on the whole slideshow.
I like the content. It is very simple and effective advice. This will be good for practice - follow the steps one by one.
As a slideshow it will be much more memorable with pictures. At least 50% of every slide should be a strong picture that reinforces the slide message. A single theme or style of picture would be great.
Most of the message is for people new to public speaking. Experts break all the rules for effect.
Can I suggest you add a picture to each slide and present the slideshow again.3 years ago

Thirty Tips for Public Speaking Tyros35 slides might need an agenda slide - something that prepares and smooths the path for the viewer.
For this slide a picture is a must - big, bright and provocative. The text is secondary - the picture should deliver 70% of the message.
Underlining for emphasis is a little old fashioned - typewriter technology. Bold, color, font, size etc., are much better tools for emphasis. However, not blinking or moving - that is overkill.3 years ago

Thirty Tips for Public Speaking TyrosThanks for inviting me to comment on your slideshow. I enjoy commenting but I can never be sure the owner actually welcomes comments. Please take my comments as simple subjective views of an amateur trying to learn.
Slide 1 needs a stronger impact. An unusual picture would work well. The template is overused so it is not as striking. as it could be. The clipart is functional but possibly too simple. The clipart is too dark for a black background.
I would look for a person suffering from stage fright on one side and the same person looking confident on the other side.
