Almost Breathing - Cardboard Celebrities - Presentation Transcript
Most of us have
seen something
or someone that
we wish we could have life size for our very own. The
possibilities are endless. For example, if you have a favorite
celebrity, you may want to have a life-sized cardboard
cutout of that celebrity. The good news is that cardboard
celebrities are not difficult to do. All you need is a home
computer, some stationary, a few stationary tools, the right
printer software for your computer, a color printer, and an
hour of your time.

The very first step you must begin with is a good quality
photo. Remember that a higher quality photo will turn out to
be a better photo life-sized cutout. When taking your photo,
it is best done as close as possible, instead of zooming in.
The next step is to get a top performing program to use with
your printer. It is best to use a program that allows
individual sections to be prepared and put together like a
puzzle.
Once you take your photo and run your printer using the
software, you need to decide on what to use to adhere it to.
The first option is cardboard, which is the most cost effective
and holds up very well. Next is foamcore, which allows clean
cuts and white edges. Then, there is coroplast which is very
strong, stable, and lightweight. However, even if it is good
for quality, corrugation lines tend to show a bit. PVC is the
best to use outdoors. It is strong and durable. Although it is
not the cheapest to use, it has the longest lifespan.
Do you have a favorite celebrity? Do you ever want to know
how to make a photo life size cutout of your favorite
celebrity without having to spend hundreds of dollars to do
it, but never can figure out how? With the right resources,
doing this is easier than you may think.
